About Moon & Sky

I was very little. My grandmother took me for a stroll on a quiet moon-lit night in the far north.

“Moon in sky!” I said, pointing at her precious silver necklace.

“Moon in sky!” she repeated, pointing up to the silver crescent suspended above us.

The necklace came to me when she passed from this world.

Stormy Abstracts

2021 was my most prolific year for painting. It was the year of illumination. In between moments of soaring optimism and devastating regret emerged some of my most impassioned pieces to date.

Uncovering Layers

These 22.5″ x 28.5″ side-by-side pieces emerged in that elusive state of “flow”.

I haven’t been able to recreate them, despite countless efforts.

They feel multi-dimensional to me. As if looking through vibrational layers.
